For those of you who missed out on the big finale on Top Model's Cycle 9, here's what happened!
The final three, Chantal, Saleisha, and Jenah started out with the infamous Cover Girl commercial. Chantal caught on quick and nailed her commercial, while Saleisha and Jenah had some trouble. Next was the Cover Girl photo shoot which would appear as a print ad for there new product Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers Lipgloss. Each girl represented a flavor, Saleisha was Tangerine Splash, Jenah was Strawberry Splash and Chantal was Lemon Splash. All three girls had amazing shots.

At deliberations each girl was asked who deserved to be there and who didn't. Of course each girl voted for herself when it came to who deserved to be there but Chantal and Saleisha said Jenah didn't deserve this opportunity because of her sarcastic attitude and Chantal even had the nerve to say that she wouldn't want her little sister looking up to a person like Jenah...ouch! Once Jenah's turn came around she finally broke down in front of the panel after Tyra poked and prodded about Jenah's past. It seems that Jenah from a young age had to raise her sister's which made her have a tough exterior = a sarcastic bravado. Ultimately Chantal and Saleisha made the final two and Jenah got sent home feeling misunderstood.
The next day both girls met with Seventeen Magazine's editor-in-chief Ann Shoket for their cover shoot. I think right at that moment Chantal and Saleisha realized that their dream of being a Top Model was finally reachable. From millions to 13 and now down to two.
From there Chantal and Saliesha were whisked away to the climax of the show: a Walk Off in a Royal Fashion Show located right outside of the Forbidden City. There were 500 extras and performers on stilts outlining the runway. Jaslene opened up the show with her signature walk, next came Saliesha who looked as if she had been walking the runway since birth and then Chantal who looked stiff but elegant. At Chantal's last outfit she had a very long flowing dress which got caught on one of the stilt walkers and they came crashing down. Chantal lost some of her composure but kept walking, in a way it was like 'Fashion Roadkill' (that's for you Sex and the City fans!)

The final judging panel came down to the girl's performance on the runway and overall since day one. All judges agreed that both girls fit the Cover Girl look but in the end who got the $100,000 contract with Cover Girl , a contract with Elite Model Management and a six-page fashion spread in Seventeen Magazine? Cycle 9 winner of Top Model was SALEISHA! Congrats to her and all the best of luck!
