Troy, Michigan, June 1, 2007: Edward G. Jones, 62, of our New York Office,  was dressed in a penguin costume and standing on one foot in the latest Oreck Vacuum commercial. He stumbled a bit as he tried to maneuver around the spaghetti of power cords while in his costume. Nervous, Edward thought that maybe the director would ask him to leave because of his little stumble. Instead, they kept him and also had him appear as an extra in Mr. Oreck's scene.

The former Marine captain, college professor and sales director has shown that one should not give up on their goals and dreams. His has been one of acting and at 62 years old he is doing what he always wanted to do. When he was attending acting classes, Edward was, "terrified at first," that is until he got up on stage and found himself to be quite comfortable with it. Once he realized this, he started planning his new career path by looking for extra and print work but he didn't know where to start. That is when he found One Source Talent.

Edward was invited to One Source Talent's New York Office and appreciated the "honesty" he experienced. He became a new face with One Source Talent in November 2006. With the assistance of One Source Talent and their Agency Services Department, Edward was able to apply for and secure the Oreck television spot and he will be working as an extra in a feature film with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslett. The Talent and Client Services Department looks forward to helping Edward find additional local and national opportunities.
