Jessica Keyes came to One Source Talent last June. She asked her mom if it would be okay if she sent in some photos of herself. Jessica heard about OST through a couple of girls she went to school with who were talent with us. She came in with her mother Jana and "It just felt right", Jana said. "Her friends had a good experience with you, your talent had booked jobs, you have a lot of business and you were honest." Jessica had her first photo shoot last February. We electronically sent her comp card to Ford Models and Elite Models in Chicago and both agencies requested to see her. Ford and Elite requested that Jessica come back and see them again in 6 months, they didn't feel she was ready just yet. Jana told me, "Jessica was really disappointed, but Katie from OST talked her through it and kept her confident." To this point Jessica hadn't any experience. To help develop her we submitted her to many castings and she began booking tons of runway shows. She booked a Flaunt Hair and Fashion Show, Nailco Hair Show, Catwalk for Cure, Sexy B Fashion show and the Ed Hardy - Be Bad for a Good Cause Fashion Show! Jessica then had her second photo shoot to build her book up a little more. 

She then booked an ad for a jewelry company for Signature Magazine. The mag will be on stands in Michigan in the Feb/March issue. Now Jessica and Jana are gearing up to head to NY to meet with some more potential agents this week. She will be put in front of NY Models, Click Models, Marilyn Models, Request Models, and Public Image! 2 days before she was set to leave for NY, Ford Models offered Jessica a contract.  I asked Jana if she had any advice for parents and she said, "My impression is that it's not so much beauty. There are a lot of modeling opportunities besides runway. Allow your child to pursue their dream, you never know. Jana told us, "Jessica is very excited. We've had a great experience. You guys are the best!" If this is something you truly want, you could have it.  Sometimes it just takes a little time. We'll let keep you posted on what happens in NY!
