The saga continues with "
National Treasure: Book of Secrets", the follow up to "National Treasure" staring
Nicholas Cage. The same cast is back in this movie, directed by Jon Turteltaub, which is no different from his first one in my opinion. Ben Gates hunts for the truth behind Abraham Lincoln's death. Why Lincoln? Pages of his great-grandfather's diary were found and this leads him to be a suspect as a key conspirator of the assasination. Ben then goes on a journey to prove his great-frandfather's innocence and to redeem the Gate's family name. Of course the journey is filled with chains of clues and a chase around the world and crazy relevations. Ok so this might be fun and exciting for 12 year olds and a great movie for a family to go see but for me: Total disappointment! The only thing that saved this movie was Cage. I hate when movies are just good because of the A-list celebrity paid millions to be in. Not my idea of good acting.
