The backdrop of Chanel's spring/summer 2008 haute couture fashion show is fierce. Karl Lagerfeld knows how to take it to the next level everytime he shows one of his amazing collections. This is what makes him soo iconic. Check out the images from the Haute Couture show for 2008 which was held at the Grand Palais in Paris on Tuesday:

The collection is inspired by shell patterns. Lagerfeld said he had never really thought about shells before, and, as he opened a picture book of shells-"
Coquillages" by
Paul Starosta and Jacques Senders-he described it as an unknown world of color and texture. Everything in the collection related to a shell, whether in the shaeds of pink and gray or the contours of the drapery. ABSOLUTLEY LOVE IT ALL!!
