As you have probably heard actor Heath Ledger was found dead yesterday in his NYC apartment.  He was on a break from shooting "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus".  Police are saying drugs may have been a factor but so far his cause of death is still unknown. 

It is a sad day in Hollywood and around the world.  Since Heath stole our hearts back in 1999 with the film "10 Things I Hate About You", he has gone on to make some phenomenal films.  "The Patriot", "A Knights Tale", "Monsters Ball", and "Casanova" to name a few.  Who can forget his remarkable performance in "Brokeback Mountain" in which Health received a Golden Globe and Oscar nomination.  We can look forward to seeing Heath this summer in the upcoming Batman Movie "The Dark Knight" in which he plays The Joker. 

He may not have been a Hollywood hard hitter, but there is no question that his face lights up the screen.  Whether he is playing a romancer, proving himself as a knight or playing a conflicted cowboy, his work is captivating.  His mysterious nature draws us in, and his comitment to his characters and ability to create made him an extroidinary actor. 

In all, the actor worked on 19 films, 4 television shows, was nominated for 28 awards, and had 14 wins.  Our hearts go out to his family and friends.  He will be forever missed.
