Ok so reports are saying that the 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards, scheduled to air this weekend, will not be telecasted this year. OMG?? What is going on with the world...Seriously? First war, then poverty, and now take away the Golden Globes. So annoying!

Striking writers forced sponsors to cancel the airing of the star-studded event. Even the nominees and presenters are going to be boycotting the event this Sunday. The winners of the different categories will be instead announced at some lame news conference. Boo to Hollywood! Boo to the HFPA!

The cancelation comes as yet another casualty of the strike by the Writers Guild of America against the major film and TV Studios, now at its ninth week. I don't understand why something hasn't been settled yet. I'm getting sick of watching reruns all day on TV...hope this ends soon! Something else to pray for.
