Being a veggie hater has no age limit, no matter if you are 3 or 30 some of us just can't stand eating them! But the truth is we need all the important nutrients in vegetables to say healthy and keep our immune system running efficiently. Here are some great substitutions for those yucky veggies!
Carrots: They're loaded with vitamin A (good for vision and the immune system), but if you're not a rabbit, try papaya, mango, or cantaloupe.
Tomatoes: You'll get lots of the powerful antioxidant lycopene from this veggie (that is actually a fruit), but if you dread them, go for watermelon, red grapefruit or apricots instead.Broccoli: Packed with vitamin C, you can still get a similar dose of nutrition from oranges, strawberries and kiwis.Spinach: Popeye loved it, but you may not.
