Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony are the proud new parents of fraternal twins, a boy and a girl.

"Jennifer and Marc are delighted, thrilled and over the moon," J.Lo's manager Simon Fields tells People magazine.

The babies were born at 12:12 a.m. at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island, N.Y. The girl weighed 5 lbs. 7 oz. and the boy, born just minutes later, weighed 6 lbs.

The twins are the first children for Jennifer. They also join Marc's children from previous relationships - Arianna, 13, Cristian, 7, and Ryan, 4.

People reportedly shelled out $6 million for the exclusive rights to publish the twins' pics in the United States. OK! magazine will run them in their 15 international editions.
