Finished! Finito! Finis! Fertig! Put down your picket signs boys, the writers' strike is finally over. WOOOHOOO! Well... 99% over!
"It's over," former Walt Disney chief executive Michael Eisner told CNBC. "[The major media companies and the Writers Guild of America] made the deal, they shook hands on the deal. It's going on Saturday to the writers in general."
The writers, however, could still reject the agreement, but the deal is definitely in motion.
"A deal has been made, and they'll be back to work very soon," Eisner added. "I know a deal's been made. I know it's over."
The strike, which lasted three months, put Hollywood on pause! It also canceled the Golden Globes this past year and threatened to cancel other award shows.
I can't wait to finally watch TV with no re-runs!
