I had the chance to check out the film this weekend.  The film follows Abby (Heigl) a romantically challenged news producer and her new co-worker Mike (Butler) who ran a cable acces show "The Ugly Truth" and was brought on to Abby's show to boost ratings and their very different points of view on relationships.

Whe Abby takes the advice of Mike, her luck with men starts to change but also forces her to realize the ugly truth.  The chemistry between Heigl and Butler was a force to be reckoned with.  Even if you don't like the storyline, you can't help but turn away from the screen.  It is both funny and heart warming.  Great film!  It is now available on DVD so I say, check it out!
