15 of our Dallas models were requested to audition for the Latino Fashion Week. Latino Fashion Week was created to support the talent of local, national and international Latino designers and is the premier resource institution for those in the Latino Fashion Industry.
Latino Fashion Week or LFW, is the only full week and tour dedicated to Latino Fashion in the United States, showcasing top Latino designers from Central and South America, the Caribbean and the U.S. LFW is a multi-day branded entertainment environment providing opportunities for fashion designers and sponsors to come face-to-face with primary celebrities, musical talent, media and consumers. LFW also includes Model's Night Out, a fashionable way to raise funds and create awareness for great causes. LFW is not just a fashion show. It is a movement. "By Latinos, For Everyone." In its eighth year, the theme for LATINO FASHION WEEK, "Beyond Exceptional," exemplifies those in the Fashion Industry that continuously push the boundaries of excellence. LFW is a showcase of all that is fashion during the 2014 Tour in the cities of Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami.
Auditions for this year's Latino Fashion Week in Dallas took place on April 17th. The casting directors for the show were looking for male models between the ages of 18 and 30 years old with a height between 5'9 inches and 6'2 inches. They were also looking to cast female models between the ages of 16 and 30 years old between the height of 5'7 inches and 5'11 inches. Good luck to all of our models that attended the audition!

Our talent were requested to send in their information to the client. Chosen talent will be paid a day rate for the upcoming commercial shoot including meals. The shoot is being done in Washington D.C. by a Michigan based production company. The talent had to send in all of their information by last Friday so the client could make their final decision. 19 of our Chicago talent have been requested to audition for an upcoming TV pilot show for the Disney Channel and Disney XD.

The client was looking for kids and teens between the ages of 10 and 17 years old for possible upcoming projects produced for the Disney Channel and Disney XD. The focus is on comedic acting, but they were also looking for talent who sing and dance. Our talent are doing audition videos this week and next week. The client will then determine who they would like to see for a callback or second audition where the talent will audition for and meet the Disney team. If any of our talent are chosen, they will be paid the SAG-AFTRA union rates for the show! Good luck to all of our talent auditioning, they may just be the next Disney star!

5 of our San Francisco talent were requested to audition for Sistah's Rock Brand's Launch mixer as promo models.
Sistah's Rock is an organization dedicated to the celebration and betterment of African-American women in the Northern California region. Sistah's Rock, is an organization built by phenomenal African American Women from various cultures, education and professional backgrounds. As an organization we are here to uplift women of all age groups by recognizing accomplishments, achievements, talents and dedication of community services. This organization enables women to develop a sisterhood so that each woman can have a voice in their community. They are an organization that stands strong to help young women generate inner respect and love within themselves, while learning to be self -empowered.
They are in the midst of planning their organization's brand launch mixers and are seeking African American models to be their spokeswomen for the event. The event is set to take place this week in the Bay Area Oakland. They are also doing an event in Elk Grove, California this week as well. Monkey Monkey Music is a kids' music entertainment brand that produces award winning videos, kids' songs, and performs live kids' music concerts, for schools, parties, and cultural arts centers. We are honored that our children's entertainment is viewed by millions of families in the U.S. on over 100 PBS stations and internationally in over 175 countries on the American Forces Network. Children's singer Meredith LeVande, began her children's music career as a prominent NYC Kids' musician for parties. Across the country, from New York to Los Angeles, and as far away as Alaska and American Samoa, families are watching Monkey Monkey Music videos on their local public television stations and asking, "Who's that girl?"

The models will work the small stand with the client, demo their app to customers and stand visitors, take down names and phone numbers, give out flyers, etc. The models will be paid for the trade show. Over 140 of our Rhode Island and Massachusetts talent were contacted to attend an upcoming open casting call to be in the upcoming Johnny Depp film Black Mass!
"Black Mass" tells the story of James "Whitey" Bulger, an Irish street punk who rose to power in organized crime by using his FBI informant status to bring down the Italian mafia in New England. According to IMDB, "John Connolly and James "Whitey" Bulger grew up together on the streets of South Boston. Decades later, in the late 1970s, they would meet again. By then, Connolly was a major figure in the FBI's Boston office and Whitey had become godfather of the Irish Mob. What happened between them - a dirty deal to trade secrets and take down Boston's Italian Mafia in the process - would spiral out of control, leading to murders, drug dealing, racketeering indictments, and, ultimately, to Bulger making the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List." Also starring in the film are Guy Pierce and Dakota Johnson. The film is being directed by Scott Cooper. Cooper also directed the Academy Award winning film Crazy Heart starring Jeff Bridges. Bridges won Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role, the film won an Oscar for Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures- Original Song and Maggie Gyllenhaal was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role as well.
Black Mass as an estimated budget of 35 million dollars and is set to be released in 2015. The client was looking for men, women and children of all ethnicities and types for both background and speaking roles in the film! Some specific types they are all seeking are Italian Wise Guys, Irish Tough Guys, Politicians and people with cars from the 70's and 80's to represent Boston in the 1970's and 1980's.
