9 of our Los Angeles talent were requested as extras for a time piece called "The Perfect Sacrifice" Set in Chicago and Mississippi in 1955 during the pre Civil Rights epoch, just as tensions in the South vehemently surge following the Brown v. Board of Education one year earlier, this film gives a first hand look at the internal struggle Mrs. Bradley faces following her son's murder as well as the outward battle she endures in trying to view his body. The film focuses on the day before Emmett Till's funeral. In Chicago, upon receiving Emmett's body that has been shipped from Mississippi, Mamie Till-Bradley, Emmett's mother, is told by Funeral Director A.A. Rayner that the very large pine box carrying her son's remains cannot be opened because it has been sealed and locked by the state of Mississippi.Mrs. Bradley is faced with the decision to either allow his murder to be swept under the rug or to take a stand against this blatant injustice and push for an open-casket funeral so that the world will see what happened to her son. Emmett "Bobo" Till was born July 25, 1941 in Chicago to Louis and Mamie Till. He was raised in Argo, a little town just outside of Chicago by his mother and grandmother, Alma Spearman. He was a very industrious kid who took great pride in everything he did. As a young child, he found work by assisting the Milkman with delivering bottles to people in the neighborhood and for that he would receive tips. At the time of his death, he was an 8th grader at the all-black McCosh Elementary School on the South Side. He would often take on chores at home such as cooking and cleaning as a way to ease the load on his mother who worked long hours as a clerk typist for the Air Force. He was quite a playful and boastful young man who loved being the center of attention. He would often tell jokes and pull pranks on his cousins and friends. His favorite comedian was George Gobel, whom he would often imitate. Although suffering from polio at the age of three, which left him with a slight limp and speech defect (stutter), he was a very self-assured young man who commanded attention wherever he went. On August 20, 1955, Emmett traveled to Mississippi to visit his great-uncle and cousins. Turning fourteen just weeks before, this was Emmett's first trip to Mississippi without his mother. Before he left, Mamie warned him of the differences between Chicago and Mississippi and instructed him to act accordingly, especially in the presence of whites. Four days into his trip, he and his cousins went to Bryant's Grocery & Meat Market to buy snacks. The market was owned by a white couple, Roy Bryant and Carolyn Bryant. Carolyn was alone in the store when the children arrived. Although it is unclear what happened inside the store when Emmett entered to buy bubblegum, once he left, Carolyn Bryant soon followed. At that point, Emmett turned and whistled at her. His cousins were afraid and they all left immediately. Four days later, early Sunday morning, Roy Bryant and his half-brother, J.W. Milam went to Emmett's great-uncle's house and took him from the bed he was sleeping in. Roy and J.W. took Emmett to a barn on J.W.'s property where he was beaten to a pulp, tortured beyond belief and then shot in the head. The men then picked up a 70 pound cotton gin fan and tied it around Emmett's neck with barbed wire and then tossed his body in the Tallahatchie River. Emmett was missing for three days before a teenager fishing in the river noticed two feet bobbing out of the water. Emmett's naked body was pulled from the river and revealed a corpse that was so mutilated that he could only be identified by the ring his mother had given him just before his trip. Mamie received word that her son's body had been found and was to be buried that same day by orders of the Sheriff (COVER UP)... After all, the only way to prevent people from seeing something is to bury it. Mamie rallied officials in Chicago to have her son's body shipped back home. He arrived in Chicago, September 4, 1955. Instead of allowing the incident to be swept under the rug, Mamie made a bold statement by putting her son's body on display so that the world could see what happened to him and to reveal hatred in its ugliest form. This is a great opportunity for our talent to get to help tell this true story. Congrats to all of our talent who were chosen to take part in this film!

Murder In The First, TNT's drama from NYPD Blue co-creator Steven Bochco. Co-created by Bochco and Eric Lodal, Murder In The First is a murder mystery set in contemporary San Francisco. Taye Diggs has appeared in 42 projects. He made his first big appearance in the film How Stella Got Her Groove Back. The actor went on to appear in The Best Man, House on Haunted Hill and The Way of the Gun before landing the role of Jackson Duper in the television series Ally McBeal. He appeared on the shows Will & Grace, Day Break and Grey's Anatomy which landed him the same role in the spinoff show Private Practice in which he has appeared on from 2007-2013. Kathleen Robertson's name may not sound all that familiar, but you will probably recognize her from the shows Beverly Hills 90210, the film Scary Movie 2 and the television series Boss. If selected for the role he is auditioning for, Derrick will portray a scrappy hip hop street kid who's been stealing copper from abandoned buildings. He's terrified when broached by police. He finally gives a description of a man he saw leaving the building at the time of a murder. Hopefully the pilot goes well and the show is picked up as a series on the network. 21 of our Miami talent have been requested to audition for an upcoming Sean Paul music video! The Jamaican dancehall superstar first sparked the world in 2002 with his breakout hit, "Gimme The Light". Right after his multi-platinum, Grammy-winning classic album, Dutty Rock, he dropped the 2005 RIAA platinum smash The Trinity. That album led off with the Top 10 single "We Be Burnin'," followed by the #1 smash "Temperature." The Kingston-born rhyme slinger has already sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, and has become the most successful Jamaican artist of all time on the U.S. charts - spurred by a trio of #1 pop singles, and five top ten hits. But despite his scorching track record, Sean Paul is taking nothing for granted. His fourth album is called Imperial Blaze. "Imperial Blaze is like the king's fire," says the keeper of dancehall's flame. The production credits on Imperial Blaze includes from Don Corleone to Craig "Leftside" Parkes (son of legendary Jamaican bandleader Lloyd Parkes), to Jeremy Harding (who doubles as Sean's manager), to Arif Cooper (son of Ibo Cooper from the famed reggae band Third World) to Delano of Renaissance Disco and even Sean's own brother, Jazon "Jigzagula" Henriques of Coppershot Sound. And for the first time, Sean himself produced a track on the album entitled "I Know You Like It." But nearly half the album's 19 tracks were produced by the 19-year old Stephen "Di Genius" McGregor, whose Big Ship/Di Genius Records label has dominated the dancehall scene for the past year. "I first met Stephen when he was like eight years old and I was in my 20s," Sean reveals. "His father Freddie McGregor is a king of reggae music, so Stephen was born into this. Now he's running the place, and the chemistry we have is something special. When you find someone who gets you as an artist, you can really push yourself and take it to a different place." The songwriting on Imperial Blaze represents a giant leap forward in Sean Paul's artistry. "There's plenty of party tracks, but we're not just singing about the same old thing," he explains. High-energy cuts like "Lace It" on McGregor's "Daybreak" riddim are already sparking the worldwide dancehall circuit, but other cuts find Sean in a more reflective mode. "My music has reached the point where it's expanding," he says. "I'm talking about relationships and different things we all go through in life." Our talent will be auditioning to be featured extras in the video. The video is being done for his new song Other Side of Love. The talent will be auditioning this week and production on the video is set to take place this week as well! This is an amazing opportunity for our talent! We are so excited for this opportunity for them to be in such a big video! We will be sure to let you know if any of our talent are chosen to take part in the shoot!
