12 of our Los Angeles kids were requested to audition for Mattel web-docu series for "Barbie".
Mattel is creating a web docu- series to share kids' ( and their parents) stories about imaginative play! We are looking for girls between the ages of 5- 8 with HUGE personalities and imaginations who play with Barbies. The client was interested in finding kids with special stories who live in the Los Angeles area. They were specifically interested in finding special stories like: A child whose imagination goes WILD when they play with their barbies, a single father of a daughter who plays barbies with her, a child with special needs who loves a certain kind of Barbie, a mom/ grandparent/ older sibling who grew up playing with barbies and has now passed that tradition on to her children, a child with an amazing barbies collection, kids with a unique parenting situation and Barbies, kids who have never played with Barbies but have a huge imagination and more.
We all know what a Barbie doll is. But, do you know the history? According to the Barbie Media website, "Ruth and Elliot Handler founded Mattel Creations in 1945, and 14 years later, Ruth Handler gave the world the Barbie doll. When asked her relationship to Barbie, Ruth simply replied, "I'm Barbie's mom."
The inspiration for Barbie came as Ruth watched her daughter Barbara playing with paper dolls. Barbara and her friends used them to play adult or teenage make-believe, imagining roles as college students, cheerleaders and adults with careers. Ruth immediately recognized that experimenting with the future from a safe distance through pretend play was an important part of growing up. She also noticed a product void and was determined to fill that niche with a three-dimensional fashion doll.
Several years and many designs later, Mattel introduced Barbie, the Teen-Age Fashion Model, to skeptical toy buyers at the annual Toy Fair in New York on March 9, 1959. Never before had they seen a doll so completely unlike the baby and toddler dolls popular at the time."
This will be a fun, heartfelt project to be a part of that is sure to be a great bonding experience for families. We couldn't be more excited to give some of our kids the opportunity to take part in such an awesome project. Good luck to all of them and we will definitely update you if anyone is chosen to be in the series!

4 of our Chicago talent were requested to audition for an upcoming industrial shoot for Pactiv.
Pactiv is the world's largest manufacturer and distributor of food packaging and foodservice products, supplying packers, processors, supermarkets, restaurants, institutions and foodservice outlets across North America. Having clear plastic, foam products, paper products, cutlery, aluminum foil, aluminum trays and others to their vast portfolio of food packaging products makes sense because it makes sense for their customers, providing them with the best overall value on the widest selection of products, delivered in the most efficient manner possible.
The Pactiv roots stretch back to 1959, when Central Fibre, American Boxboard, and Ohio Boxboard merged to form Packaging Corporation of America (PCA). Those companies bear little resemblance to the Pactiv we know today, as they operated paper mills that exclusively produced cardboard boxes. In 2010, Pactiv was acquired by Rank Group Limited, and they became part of Reynolds Group Holdings Limited (RGHL), a global manufacturer and supplier of consumer food and beverage packaging and storage products. Since the Rank acquisition, they have continued to grow, incorporating the legacy Reynolds Foodservice business to Pactiv, acquiring Dopaco in 2011, and adding International Tray Pads and Packaging and Interplast Packaging in 2012.

Miami talent Rino Cerbone has been requested to audition for an upcoming print at for Strongbow Cider.
Strongbow is a blend of bittersweet cider and culinary apples, making it a well-balanced hard cider that's anything but ordinary. At firstsip, you'll note a bold cider flavor from the fermented cider apples, followed by a distinct, fresh apple taste from the culinary apples. Naturally gluten free, Strongbow is served in bottles, cans and on tap. We recommend drinking it over ice for a crisp, refreshing taste that always hits the spot.
In 1962, Bulmer's began crafting Strongbow in Hereford, England. Embodying 125 years of cider-making process and tradition, Strongbow is now the number one cider brand around the world. Fans often wonder about the archer on our label. Strongbow is named after Richard "Strongbow" de Clare, the Earl of Pembroke, who was legendary for his skill with the bow and arrow. With such a namesake, it is no wonder their dry, hard cider lets you start off the night strong.
