4 of our New York talent were requested to walk in an upcoming fashion show for designer Deanna Ansara and her line Vincetta.

Her work has been published in Fashion Chicago Magazine, Turn Magazine, and her collection has been shown in Detroit Fashion Week, Empire Hotel NYC, Detroit Auto Show, and SBFW. Deanna explains her brand as " The concept of Vincetta is strength and confidence. I want women to feel beautiful by showcasing their figures with flattering silhouettes and lavish fabrics. I create structured, romantic and timeless pieces while bringing a Haute Couture and slightly vintage feel to this contemporary RTW brand. " She started in Michigan and now lives in Brooklyn, NY as a freelancer working hard to gain industry experience while growing her own brand. Thus far she have free-lanced with companies such as J.Crew, Isaac Mizrahi for : Elite Brands, Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren, The Gap, and Etonic. She has also had the opportunity to produce and showcase a collection in a total of 8 fashion shows while also having the amazing opportunity to collaborate with various philanthropic causes such as; Susan G. Komen, Humane Society, and Red Cross.

The show is being done by RAW Artists. RAW: natural born artists is an independent arts organization, for artists, by artists. They hand-pick and spotlight local artistic talent in film, fashion, music, visual art, hair & makeup artistry, and performance art. With artists from all genres in each showcase, RAW events come together to form an amazing one-night circus of creativity. These showcases occur once a month in each city location (54 showcases a month).

Their Marvel event will be taking place on Thursday, April 11th at the M1-5 Lounge in New York City. The show is set to take place at 11pm. Models Bintou Kone, Megan Hawkins, Su Jung Chi and Nikeeya Angel Witter have all been requested to take part in the upcoming show.

14 of our New York talent have been chosen to be models for London Blue Designs. They make custom vintage inspired accessories and photography props. The models will be showcasing their hair designs. The show is the RAW NY provocations. RAW is natural born artists is an independent arts organization, for artists, by artists. RAW events are multi-faceted artistic showcases. Each event features a film screening, musical performance, fashion show, art gallery, performance art and a featured hairstylist and makeup artist. These artists are all local, hand-picked talent who have been chosen to feature at RAW. The show is taking place on October 18th at the M1-5 Club. Congrats to our models for booking this fun event!

6 of our Dallas talent have been chosen to audition for the Designer Choice Fashion Preview. The DCFP is one of the most highly acclaimed fashion events for local designers. The event is being hosted by Project Runways Korto Momolu. Our models were requested by D.P.C.'s Dora Kim. She has previously booked our talent Sara E for a photo shoot. Over 15 of our New York models have been requested to audition for an upcoming show for this years New York Fashion Week! They are auditioned for the Le Premier Eye wear  and Apparel  Collection and House Of Lamaica New York Fashion Week Presentation. The models auditioned last week and had interviews with the designers Michael Marshall and Marvalyn Nelson. If the designers liked any talent, they were to have a fitting the same day for the upcoming show.

3 of our Los Angeles models have been selected to be models for Flick Voyager for this year's Los Angeles Fashion Week. Flick Voyager is a luxury brand for men with extended taste levels that are not afraid to step. FLICK VOYAGER will make its grand appearance on the runway! The Spring/Summer 2013 collections will be shown of in LA Fashion week which is set for October 14th-21st.

10 of our Miami models have been selected to attend an audition to be models for "Fashion for a Cause" hosted by The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale for Semilla & Artipelle of the Village at Gulfstream. Artipelle boutique offers selective Italian leather accessories combining the old world tradition and modern technology, resulting in the creation of fashionable art pieces with exceptional quality. The fashion show is being done to help raise money for kids in distress.

The client for Plato's Closet requested to audition with 62 of our Chicago models for an upcoming fashion show. Plato's Closet buys and sells the latest looks in brand name gently used clothing and accessories for young adults, with stores all across the country. How it works is people bring in their clothing and accessories, the buyer reviews the items and creates a cash offer based on the style, condition, brand and store's current stock levels. The seller decides if they agree with the offer, and sometimes even purchases a hot new outfit with the cash they get back from their sold clothing!

19 Denver talent have been selected to audition for a benefit fashion show "Cycling Soul Live the Ride". The event will be a very fun evening with Jim Ochowicz, members of the 7-Eleven racing team, and members of the BMC racing team.  Bravo TV fifth season Top Chef winner Hosea Rosenberg will be preparing the food at "Cycling Soul Live the Ride". There will also be a fun cycling fashion show and a silent auction with some great items. All proceeds made will benefit the Davis Phinney Foundation. Davis Phinney is a former professional road bicycle racer who was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at the age of 40, and established the Davis Phinney Foundation in 2004. The Davis Phinney Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of people with Parkinson's disease.

One Source Talent models will have the opportunity to meet and network with some of the founders and members of Tour de France! "Cycling Soul Live the Ride" is scheduled for August 26th, 2012 at the Grand Hyatt in Denver, Colorado. Good luck to all of our models!

59 of our Metro-Detroit models have been requested to audition for an upcoming runway and hair show by Figo Salon in Birmingham, Michigan. Merging hair design and fashion effortlessly FIGO Salon of Birmingham is putting together a hair and fashion event. The models booked, will be wearing the innovative and unique paper dresses designed by Matthew Richmond. The FIGO hair and fashion show is scheduled to take place on September 16th, 2012 and we will keep everyone posted on details from the event! Good luck to all of our models!

12 of our Dallas models were selected to attend a casting to be a part of Africa Fashion Week. Africa Fashion Week Dallas is scheduled to take place this Fall. Style conscious citizens will be able to indulge in glamorous runway presentations, industry events, shopping incentives, exhibitions, informative programming, and exciting parties taking place during this eagerly anticipated tradition. The event is scheduled for October 26th and 27th at the Texas Star Event Facility. The grand finale is set for October 28, 2012 at the Hilton Hotel Lincoln Center in Dallas, Texas.

Africa Fashion Week Dallas was created to increase the viability and visibility of the African fashion industry in Dallas, Texas. The goal is to showcase African designers and develop Africa's position as a major player in the international fashion arena. It is a three day celebration.
