9 of our Los Angeles talent were requested as extras for a time piece called "The Perfect Sacrifice"
Set in Chicago and Mississippi in 1955 during the pre Civil Rights epoch, just as tensions in the South vehemently surge following the Brown v. Board of Education one year earlier, this film gives a first hand look at the internal struggle Mrs. Bradley faces following her son's murder as well as the outward battle she endures in trying to view his body.
The film focuses on the day before Emmett Till's funeral. In Chicago, upon receiving Emmett's body that has been shipped from Mississippi, Mamie Till-Bradley, Emmett's mother, is told by Funeral Director A.A. Rayner that the very large pine box carrying her son's remains cannot be opened because it has been sealed and locked by the state of Mississippi.Mrs. Bradley is faced with the decision to either allow his murder to be swept under the rug or to take a stand against this blatant injustice and push for an open-casket funeral so that the world will see what happened to her son.
Emmett "Bobo" Till was born July 25, 1941 in Chicago to Louis and Mamie Till. He was raised in Argo, a little town just outside of Chicago by his mother and grandmother, Alma Spearman. He was a very industrious kid who took great pride in everything he did. As a young child, he found work by assisting the Milkman with delivering bottles to people in the neighborhood and for that he would receive tips. At the time of his death, he was an 8th grader at the all-black McCosh Elementary School on the South Side. He would often take on chores at home such as cooking and cleaning as a way to ease the load on his mother who worked long hours as a clerk typist for the Air Force.
He was quite a playful and boastful young man who loved being the center of attention. He would often tell jokes and pull pranks on his cousins and friends. His favorite comedian was George Gobel, whom he would often imitate. Although suffering from polio at the age of three, which left him with a slight limp and speech defect (stutter), he was a very self-assured young man who commanded attention wherever he went. On August 20, 1955, Emmett traveled to Mississippi to visit his great-uncle and cousins. Turning fourteen just weeks before, this was Emmett's first trip to Mississippi without his mother. Before he left, Mamie warned him of the differences between Chicago and Mississippi and instructed him to act accordingly, especially in the presence of whites. Four days into his trip, he and his cousins went to Bryant's Grocery & Meat Market to buy snacks. The market was owned by a white couple, Roy Bryant and Carolyn Bryant. Carolyn was alone in the store when the children arrived.
Although it is unclear what happened inside the store when Emmett entered to buy bubblegum, once he left, Carolyn Bryant soon followed. At that point, Emmett turned and whistled at her. His cousins were afraid and they all left immediately. Four days later, early Sunday morning, Roy Bryant and his half-brother, J.W. Milam went to Emmett's great-uncle's house and took him from the bed he was sleeping in. Roy and J.W. took Emmett to a barn on J.W.'s property where he was beaten to a pulp, tortured beyond belief and then shot in the head. The men then picked up a 70 pound cotton gin fan and tied it around Emmett's neck with barbed wire and then tossed his body in the Tallahatchie River. Emmett was missing for three days before a teenager fishing in the river noticed two feet bobbing out of the water. Emmett's naked body was pulled from the river and revealed a corpse that was so mutilated that he could only be identified by the ring his mother had given him just before his trip. Mamie received word that her son's body had been found and was to be buried that same day by orders of the Sheriff (COVER UP)... After all, the only way to prevent people from seeing something is to bury it.
Mamie rallied officials in Chicago to have her son's body shipped back home. He arrived in Chicago, September 4, 1955. Instead of allowing the incident to be swept under the rug, Mamie made a bold statement by putting her son's body on display so that the world could see what happened to him and to reveal hatred in its ugliest form.

Only Suzy won't be gotten rid of so easily.

When her Mother convinces her to rush for her old sorority, Theta Phi, Avery has no choice but to pursue life as a sorority sister. Theta Phi is the school's hottest, most exclusive sorority, and the current members aren't going to let a nerdy girl like Avery taint their image just because she's a legacy. The sisters stage a mock voodoo ceremony to scare Avery away. Only it goes horribly, horribly wrong. With Avery's dead body on their hands and jail in their future, the sisters dump the body and swear to a secret they will carry to their graves.

The film is about Vivienne Novak, a once-promising Hollywood actress whose career quickly deteriorated after the teen soap she was in four years ago was cancelled, has been coasting by on her talent for leeching off whichever suitable mate is willing to foot her bills ever since. Arrogant, ultra-confident, and comically abrasive, Vivienne is the worst kind of product mass-produced from the "L.A." lifestyle, and proud of it.
Kicked out of her latest sugar-daddy's Hollywood Hills mansion one day, however, Vivienne is suddenly left homeless, and without a penny to her name. With nowhere else to go, she breaks into the apartment of an old boyfriend, only to find Dickie Marsden now living there - a struggling actor just like herself, but with none of her self-delusions and complete lack of ethics.
When the prospect of an upcoming film role promises the rejuvenation of her career, Vivienne is forced to team up with Dickie and her new unpaid intern Caitlin, learning what it really takes to succeed in this town. Through the misadventures of this odd trio, Vivienne begrudgingly realizes that despite Dickie's comparative lack of success, and Caitlin's blissful naivety, they may be the key to helping her reattain her previous fame and discover what she is truly destined to become in this world.

Chicago talent Tom Krettler was booked for Channel2020, a sci-fi comedy.
Brought to you by veteran internet video pirates of Everything is Terrible! and the puppeteers of Food Party, Channel 2020 gives you real stories of the reptilian agenda, shown through the lens of the future-lizards' own most important art: television. Using a consciousness-raising blend of experimental video, animation and puppetry, the creators of Channel 2020 will show you the world of a near-future reptilian-run cable TV network, as seen through the creepy unblinking eyes of the reptiles themselves.
Food Party is a mind-bending, non-reality cooking show with Thu Tran as your hostess, a cast of unruly puppets as culinary aides, and a cavalcade of fictitious celebrities as surprise dinner guests. Shot on location in a Technicolor cardboard kitchen as well as other foreign and exotic cardboard locations, each episode will or will not instruct you on how to prepare wild gourmet multi-course meals with ingredients you probably have on hand in your kitchen already, such as pretzel rods, eggs, narwhal lungs, bizarre plot twists, secret ingredients, and pizza. After all, you never know who might show up for dinner.
Everything Is Terrible! is a collective of seven furry, lovable internet monsters who live in a cave full of VCRS and solve mysteries. We take forgotten VHS tapes of all kinds and edit them down into easily digestible viral videos. They also make DVDs that further condense the mountain of footage that we find into a freeform collage of images and jokes. We like to take these DVDs on the road and put on live shows in movie theaters across the USA.
