Andrew Wehde is a self taught photographer who began his journey using the moving camera but found another passion within the still.
Educated at DePaul University's School of Cinematography, Andrew created short films along with a few full feature length films. This inspired Andrew to establish his own studio and explore still photography. Within months Drew began shooting for Ford Model Management and Arlene Wilson Management, which led to submissions of numerous editorials to local Chicago fashion magazines. His strong knowledge, passion for getting the shot right, and expertise in lighting were evident and clients began to flood in.
Andrew Wehde is a strong presence in the Chicago market today. His work covers the top modeling agency talent boards. Andrew most recently has reinvented his passion for cinematography working with a small group of talented individuals to form a new company, Digital-Roots Media. He has expanded his business into the HD world and has incorporated his strong knowledge of photography into his art of cinematography.
